Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park - NPS Passport Cancellation Stations on Waymarking.com

This park is one of two of my favorite Hawaiian Parks - the other being Haleakala National Park. What more could you ask for; $10 admission per vehicle valid for 7 days, a wonderful park with much to do and explore and, my favorite, free camping! We stayed at Kulanaokuaiki campground, 4 miles of off the Chain of Craters Road. Over 4,000 in elevation so bring warm clothes! Volcano House offers lodging if camping isn't your thing along with all you can eat breakfast buffet. Be sure to take a flashlight on the 7 mile hike over the lava rock field at sundown to watch the lava flow into the ocean. Check out the petroglyphs on your way to the lava field found along the way on Chain of Craters Road. And of course, visit the Thurston Lava Tube.
