New Skatepark opens in Davenport, IA - Skateparks on Waymarking.com

This new $1 million skatepark is located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Davenport, Iowa. It is designed by skaters and bikers. At the grand opening, city administrator, Craig Malin, 44, an accomplished skateboader, was one of those who first tested the new 33,000 sq. ft. facility designed for all levels of accomplishment.

All of the finishing touches have not been completed. Once the lights are put up, this facility will be open 24 hours per day. A Rules sign has not been installed yet, and the parking area has to be surfaced.
