"Le siège du Groupe Ecocert a reçu la certification LEED Platinum (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), le plus haut niveau de qualification attribué par l’US Green Building Council, qui récompense les bâtiments les plus performants au monde en matière de respect de l’environnement.
Baptisé E+, le siège d’Ecocert est un bâtiment écologique à énergie positive, l’un des plus hauts et plus grands bâtiments en paille et bois d’Europe. Il doit son nom à la performance énergétique qui le caractérise : sa construction et son exploitation ont une très faible empreinte écologique, et ses panneaux photovoltaïques produisent plus d’énergie que n’en consomme le bâtiment. Le bâtiment E+ bénéficie du plus haut niveau de qualification LEED et fait donc partie des bâtiments les plus écologiques au monde !
Les chiffres d’un bâtiment exemplaire :
100% des émissions sont compensées
800 bottes de paille bio ont été nécessaires pour réaliser le bâtiment
400 tonnes de bois sont présents dans le bâtiment, emmagasinant le carbone au lieu de le rejeter
500 m2 de panneaux photovoltaïques : soit 1 kWh consommé pour 1,3 kWh produit, c’est pour ça qu’il est à « énergie positive »
180 arbres ont été plantés entre les bâtiments

"The Ecocert Group's headquarters has been awarded the LEED Platinum (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, the highest level of qualification awarded by the US Green Building Council, which recognizes the world's best performing buildings in terms of the environment.
Called E +, the Ecocert headquarters is a positive energy ecological building, one of the tallest and largest straw and wood buildings in Europe. It owes its name to the energy performance that characterizes it: its construction and operation have a very small ecological footprint, and its photovoltaic panels produce more energy than consumes the building. The E + building has the highest level of LEED qualification and is therefore one of the greenest buildings in the world!
