Waldfriedhof (Forest Cemetery) is a cemetery located above the "Römerweg" in the woods of "Föhrenwald". It includes individual graves and family graves, a military cemetery and a memorial in honor of the prisoners of the Dachau concentration camp who died in the Death March of 1945.

The tombstone of the Neuner - Urbeler family presents a beautiful relief surrounded by this quote from Matthew 5: 8:

German: "Selig, die ein reines herz haben, denn sie werdengott schauen"

English: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God"

St Matthew was one of Jesus' 12 apostles and his book is the first of four in the New Testament.
