"Construit au début du 16e siècle vraisemblablement pour un chanoine de Saint-Martin de Tours, ce manoir est très représentatif de l'architecture tourangelle à l'époque de la Renaissance. Le pavillon principal est agrémenté d'un décor sculpté en partie restauré à l'identique au 19e siècle. Au 17e siècle, les baies ont perdu leurs meneaux et ont été abaissées. Les autres parties de l'édifice sont venues s'accoler postérieurement. Elles sont formées d'une aile basse, d'un pavillon carré et d'une tour du 19e siècle. A l'intérieur, une hotte de cheminée conserve une fresque dans le style de la seconde Ecole de Fontainebleau."
