Built in 1949 the Old Stone Chapel is a charming building on the Sunrise Cemetery grounds. Located just off Rt. 53 north of Duluth, the chapel is commonly used for funerals, memorials, and weddings.

Sunrise cemetery offers an 80 acre park-like setting with all headstones at ground level. Bird feeders and fruit bearing trees attract wildlife, and create a peaceful place for walkers, photographers, and birdwatchers. Each year trees are planted in memory of the deceased.
