Ved Globus Biler i Silkeborg står denne enorme globus. Den blev opført i 1936 af Vølunds Maskinfabrik og blev dekoreret som globus. Sidenhen er globussen blevet malet flere gange senest i 2005. Ifølge firmaets hjemmeside og wikipedia.dk er det verdens største globus. Ifølge Guinnessworldrecords.com er den største globus i verden dog en roterende globus i Maine, USA.

At Globus Cars in Silkeborg you will find this huge globe. Originally it was a gasometer from 1936 built by the company Vølund Engineering and decorated as a globe. Since then it has been decorated several times. The last time was in 2005. According to the website of the firm and Danish Wikipedia it is the largest globe in the world. But according to Guinnessworldrecords.com there is one larger revolving globe in Maine, USA.
