"Denkmal fur Kürt Eisner (2011) - Der Münchner Sdadtrat hat im Juni 2008 beschlossen, Kurt Eisner (1867 1919), dem Gründer des Freistaats Bayern und dessen ersten Ministerpräsidenten, ein würdiges Denkmal zu setzen. Als Ergebnis eines Kunstwettbewerbs erhielt die Münchner Künstlerin Rotraut Fischer den Auftrag, das Denkmal zu realisieren.
Als Ort der Konzentration und des Gedenkens hat Rotraut Fischer eine Raumskulptur aus Grünglaselementen geschaffen. Die Anordnung der Scheiben und die dadurch entstehenden Spiegelungen assoziieren Bewegung. Durch die Begehbarkeit des offenen, transparenten Raums werden die Menschen zu einem wichtigen Bestandteil des Kunstwerks.
