Erstmals fand das Laternfest vom 28. bis 30.9.1935 statt. Schon damals gab es Samstags und Sonntags Festumzüge durch die Stadt. (

Die Festmeile beginnt im Westen des Festplatzes (Koordinaten) und geht quer durch die Fußgängerzone bis zum Rathhaus. Um die 200 Stände sind aufgebaut - Essen, Trinken, drei Bühnen und verschiedenste Fahrgeschäfte - vom Kinderkarussel bis zu High Tech.
Das Fest ende am Montag abend (ca. 21:30 Uhr) mit einem großen Feuerwerk.

The first Laternenfest (lantern festival) took place from 28 to 30 September 1935. It usually takes place every year at the fith weekend after 1. August - from Friday evening to Monday evening.
The festival area starts (in the west) at the coordinates and continues until the town hall area. You will find various possibilites for food and drink and fun rides - for young children, teens and adults.
The festival ends at Monday night with a big fireworks display (about 9:30 pm).
