A concrete marker located on the side of Giovanni Caboto's (John Cabot's) former residence in Venice. The house is located on Via Garibaldi near the lagoon.
Cabot, while in the service of England's King Henry VII, is credited with being the first recorded European to make landfall in Newfoundland in 1497.
