Historic marker erected by the Dalmatian History Society of Venice. It recounts that it was in this church that the city of Zadar and the Dalmatian region of the western Adriatic was sold by Ladislaus of Naples to the Venetian Republic for 100,000 ducats. The sign is in Italian.


Sign text reads:

"Il 9 Iuglio 1409 in questa chiesa venne sottoscritto l'atto de cessione alla republica veneta de parte del regna de ungheria dei diritti su Zara e la Dalmazia consolidando gli antichi legami tra la Dalmazia e venezia destinati a durare nei secoli
