Its the homebase of The Pfälzischer Horse Racing Association Zweibrücken e.V.
Their website (
visit link) reads:
The club's own racetrack is located in the middle of the city of Zweibrücken, directly on the rose garden. The first race day took place there in 1899. Since then, the dirt track has been regularly maintained to enable the annual race day in April and June with a colorful map. In addition to the flat and hunting races, there are races for Arab thoroughbreds, the Youth Promotion Prize (Junior Cup Southwest) and trotting races. The entrance fees are currently 5 euros, concessions 2 euros, with the entrance for children and young people is free.
All races are run with totalizer operation. The stake is 1 euro, for the triple bet 50 cents. The races will be broadcast on the internet and in the betting offices.
There is enough free parking space for the visitors at the Hilgard Center (Saarlandstraße) and on the fairground (Geschwister-Scholl-Allee).
