These stairs take you from the top of Mohegan Bluffs to the beach along the southern shore of Block Island.

In New Shoreham, off Spring Street, is a stairway from the top of Mohegan Bluffs to the beach at the base.
The parking lot is located at Spring Street, about a hundred feet west of the curve northward and where the southeast lighthouse is located. The lot is on the south side of the road.
From the lot, walk south along the trail. The entrance to the stairs will be on the right.
The stairway is a set of wooden steps/railing running along the bluffs between the top near the parking lot and the beach. The stairs have landings along the way. I counted about 164 steps, though I lost count a couple times. The change in elevation is over 100 ft.
