In 15th december 2007 Caritas organized a world wide demonstration for peace. It was called "Milhões de estrelas pela Paz" (Millions of stars for Peace).
In Batalha there was a huge participation and therefore a monument to remember that and the cause of world Peace.
It is build in limestone with 2 doves sculptered and the name of the event and the date.
Kind of dove: Dove without olive branch, but with some clear connection to concepts of peace
