The statue of Our Lady, Star of the Sea is situated in a shrine close to the Catholic Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea and St. Maughold.

From Wikipedia is would seem that "Our Lady, Star of the Sea" is an ancient title for the Virgin Mary.
