Interactive stream bed with locks and snail pumps on the water playground Henriette-Herz-Ring in the Neuallermöhe district of Hamburg.
Here, the flow behavior of the water in an artificial stream bed can be observed and changed. Several operational lock gates, one paddle wheel and two Archimedean screws can be used here to change, stop, and bring water to a different level. The whole is fed by an operational hand pump.
