The Club is situated on Queens Promenade near to the Lifeboat House and not far from the Harbour Masters Office.

The club provides facilities for both offshore and dinghy sailors at its recently modernised clubhouse in the former Coastguard Lookout building.

The Club has an active cruising fleet operating out of Ramsey Harbour and also has several dinghy fleets. Additionally there is an active Royal Yachting Association ("RYA")training section.

MS&CC runs several major events each year for offshore cruising sailors as well as a popular programme of rallies. The club also organises a number of dinghy events throughout the year.

The clubhouse house features a bar which is open at varying times according to the racing and events taking place. The Lookout building also offers changing rooms which are normally open 30 minutes before dinghy racing and other events.

MS&CC has a full range of safety boats and equipment avialable to support all the clubs activities. In July 2017 the club celebrated the launch of a brand new Patron Boat. The RIB was gifted to the Club by Dr May Shiu Chan in memory of her husband Neil. Neil had been a hard working satety boat volunteer at the Club.
