This amphitheater was built in the year 2000 for the City of Casey. It is situated in Wilson Park. The park is an area of natural beauty surrounded by on old quarry.

The stage area is a concrete formation. The amphitheater is bluestone formed around 8 levels high on a hill scape.

The plaque reads.

'This amphitheatre was constructed with a bequest for the beautification of Wilson Botanic Park from Lindsay Charles Gamble and his late wife, Alice Gamble.

It was opened by the mayor, Cr Ron Mantel, on the 3rd December 2000.
