EN: The sculpture "A Dream" stands inside a road junction in the center of Domodossola. It was created by the Finnish artist Kaarina Kaikkonen in 2012 as one of thirteen sculpures by different artists that were placed after 2010 in Brig, Switzerland and Domodossola to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first transalpine flight in 1910 by Peruvian aviator Jorge Chávez. He crashed upon landing in Domodossola, was heavily injured and died four days later of massive blood loss.

The sculpure sits on a massive boulder. It is something that spreads its wings, and somewhat resembles a leather pilot jacket. It is made of a special type of aluminium, that is used to build helicopters. It has a size af about half a meter.
