Seit 1937 verfügt die Schule über eine eigene kleine Sternwarte. 2004/05 wurde ein schuleigenes Teleskop mit einer 280-mm-Öffnung und einer computergesteuerten Nachführung aufgestellt. Um Öffentlichkeit herzustellen, gibt es einen Freundeskreis der Sternwarte. Die Sternwarte wurde 2011 durch eine Wetterstation erweitert. Die bislang stündlich gesammelten Daten sind im schuleigenen Rechnernetz verfügbar.
Since 1937 the school has an own little observatory. In 2004/05 the observatory got an own 280 mm telescope and a computer-controlled setpoint tracing. To generate publicity there is a circle of friends of the observatory. In 2011 it was expanded with an weather station. Die hourly data are available on the schools network.
