We come today to show our pride
To those who have come before
That gave their all for what we have
They gave 'til there was no more.
From every state they volunteered
To serve their country proud
They crossed the sea to other lands
to proclaim their freedom loud.
But now we stand in this quiet spot
To honor our fallen friends
Wondering when all war's will stop
And the deaths of our boys will end.
