Geographic coordinates posted on a plaque with equation of time, for use with the nearby sundial on SS Peter & Paul church, Blandford Forum.

The plaque was placed on November 15yh 2005 to mark the 400th anniversary of the granting of the town charter by James I in 1605.

The Sundial shows BLANDFORD SOLAR TIME, read from the upper edge of the shadow of the GNOMON (the shadow caster). Clocks and watches are regulated
to follow MEAN TIME. This famous graph of the EQUATION OF TIME (adjusted for the parish churche's longitude) shows how to change the time shown
by the dial into GREENWICH Mean Time on different days of the year. Add an hour to GMT to match the time shown by clocks during British Summer Time.
