The launch of Operation Book Box took place on Friday 1 April in the presence of twenty people. The mayor, Denis La Mache, recalled in his speech that the idea is that of the municipal councilor, Huguette Fabregue. He explained the concept of what is "somewhat like a library" and which is "based on trust, solidarity, exchange and free access to culture".
The book box, designed by Daniel Roy, is located opposite the town hall, leaning against the school wall.

Le lancement de l'opération Boîte à livres a eu lieu vendredi 1er avril en présence d'une vingtaine de personnes. Le maire, Denis La Mache, a rappelé dans son propos que l'idée est celle de la conseillère municipale, Huguette Fabregue. Il a expliqué le concept de ce qui est « un peu comme une bibliothèque » et qui est « basé sur la confiance, la solidarité, l'échange et le libre accès à la culture ».
La boîte à livres, réalisée par Daniel Roy, se trouve en face de la mairie, adossée au mur de l'école.
