In Boston, in the Seaport District, is the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage.
The church is located along Northern Avenue, near the Moakley Bridge and is a block away from the Moakley Courthouse.
The building is a one and a half story structure with a bell tower. The entrance is on the west side. The doors are bounded by stained glass windows.
The chapel building was built in 2016 and replaced an earlier building located a block down the street as part of a land swap deal with a land developer. The new building was open in April 2017.
The original chapel was built to administer to fishermen and sailors in port. Today, the area is changing rapidly as residences and commercial buildings are being built.
