Auf dem Hauptplatz der Stadt Amstetten befindet sich auf einer kleinen Mauer eine metallene Gedenktafel für die Partnerstadt Ruelle sur Touvre. Diese wurde irrtümlich um 90° im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht montiert. Das Logo der Stadt Ruelle sur Touvre und die Umrisse von Département Charente, in dem die Stadt liegt, sieht man oben. Montiert wurde die Gedenktafel aber wie im dritten Bild zu sehen ist. Wenn irgendwann Freunde aus der Partnerstadt nach Amstetten kommen, wäre es interessant zu sehen, wie sie auf die falsch montierte Gedenktafel reagieren.
