Die Motormühle
1905/6 erbaute der langjährige Besitzer der Glashütter Windmühle, Adolph Seydel, an der Segeberger Chaussee/Ecke Tangstedter Landstraße gegenüber der Einmündung Mühlenweg (seit 1.1.1970 Müllerstraße) eine Motormühle; diese Mühle arbeitet ohne Windenergie und war mit einem Diesel- bzw. Elektromotor ausgerüstet. Nach Adolphs Ableben führten die Söhne Richard und Arnold den Betrieb fort. Seit Anfang der 1950er Jahre bis 1981 war Willy Schmidt Pächter der Motormühle.
Der an der Westwand des Gebäudes abgestellte Mühlenstein stammt aus der Glashütter Windmühle. Es handelt sich hier um einen besonders harten und scharfen Naturstein ( wohl aus dem Departement Seine-et-Marne, dafür Franzose genannt).

The motor mill
1905/6 the long-time owner of the Glashütter windmill, Adolph Seydel, built a motor mill on the Segeberger Chaussee / corner of Tangstedter Landstraße opposite the mouth of Mühlenweg (since 1.1.1970 Müllerstraße); This mill operates without wind energy and was equipped with a diesel or electric motor. After Adolph's death, the sons Richard and Arnold continued the operation. Since the beginning of the 1950s until 1981, Willy Schmidt was a tenant of the motor mill.
The mill stone, which is placed on the west wall of the building, is from the Glashütter windmill. It is a particularly hard and sharp natural stone (probably from the department of Seine-et-Marne, therefore called Frenchman).
