This very small, unmarked graveyard is in a fairly remote part of Sid Richardson Scout Ranch near Runaway Bay, Texas. The graves are believed to be that of two small children of a homesteader who lived about 100 yards to the west in the late 1800's or early 1900's. According to a ranger for the Longhorn Council, in the 1980's there was the remains of a rotting wooden cross. He also talked about two brown jugs he removed from the site, which he believes were used to hold flowers. The jugs were dated from the late 1800's. The two graves are no longer marked. The rock wall surrounding the grave is typical of similar grave sites in this part of Texas from the late 1800's and early 1900's.
Since the graves are no longer marked, take and upload a photo of the stone wall to document your visit.
