Warwick Rex (* 1966) war ein Hannoveraner-Wallach und ein ehemaliges deutsches Weltklassespringpferd. Warwick Rex wurde im Sport von dem deutschen Springreiter Alwin Schockemöhle geritten.

Gefertigt wurde die Statue aus Bronze vom Münchner Künstler Heinrich Faltermeier. Heinrich Faltermeier wurde 1909 in München geboren. Nach einer Goldschmiedelehre studierte er von 1936 bis 1943 an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in München. Nach einem langjährigen Aufenthalt in Spanien kehrte er 1960 nach München zurück. Von 1966 bis 1999 lebte er in Piesenkam. Faltermeiers bevorzugte Arbeitsmaterialien als Bildhauer sind Bronze, Marmor und Holz.
Die Statur steht vor dem Eingang des Relais & Châteaux Park-Hotel Egerner Höfe in Rottach-Egern.

Warwick Rex (* 1966) was a Hanoverian gelding and a former German world class jumping horse. Warwick Rex was ridden in the sport by the German jumping rider Alwin Schockemöhle.

The statue was made of bronze by the Munich artist Heinrich Faltermeier. Heinrich Faltermeier was born in 1909 in Munich. After a goldsmith's apprenticeship he studied from 1936 to 1943 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. After a long stay in Spain, he returned to Munich in 1960. From 1966 to 1999 he lived in Piesenkam. Faltermeier's preferred work materials as a sculptor are bronze, marble and wood.
