"Our chapter has two main philanthropies. The first is Miami Triad week, which we put on annually with Beta Theta Pi and Sigma Chi in order to fund a scholarship for a freshman on campus. Our personal philanthropy is Turtle Derby, which is currently enjoying it's 60th anniversary. During Mom's Weekend every year, we race turtles in the street in front of our chapter house, while raffling off gift baskets and similar items. It is typically sponsored by several local businesses and all proceeds are donated to the ALS Association, our national philanthropy." (visit link)
