In the pedestrian tunnel under Rennbahnstraße, the history of the former village of Horn (now part of Hamburg) is displayed in graffiti style at about 240 meters (both walls are summed up). In chronological order the milestones of the development of the village from the first documentary mention 1306 till today are represented.

Horn's story in the tunnel
If you are interested in the history of Horn, just walk through the pedestrian tunnel at Horner Rennbahn. The tunnel walls were painted with motifs from the history of Horn - in graffiti style and chronologically. As we pass through, we learn that the village of Horn was mentioned for the first time in 1306 after the last Heller road for 414 years of Danish territory. In 1630, Hans de Herthoge acquired today's Blohmspark and the Horner Marsch was flooded The village horn at that time from Hamburg in 1883 belonged to Hamburg.
