Six unidentified victims of the horrific Hartford Circus Fire were laid to rest in Northwood Cemetery, a.k.a. Soldiers' Field, in Windsor, CT. One victim has been subsequently identified and re-interred with her family.

The Hartford Circus Fire occurred on July 6, 1944 at a matinee performance of the Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus. One hundred sixty-seven people died and more than 700 were injured. Six victims were unable to be identified, (three adults and three children) and were buried in Northwoods Cemetery. Their graves are located behind a stone marker is engraved with a wreath and inscribed:

Stone markers at ground level mark the graves for each of the victims. They are inscribed:
