Outside of Oberhof, Germany, Thüringen exists an old historic border stone for 3 different territories: Sachsen-Gotha, Hessen, Sachsen.

There are different names for this stone: 'Dietzel-Geba-Stein', 'Hessenstein' or 'Stein 16'. It is a so-called 'Dreiherrenstein' (tripoint for 3 different owners/territories).

The 3 historic states do not exist anymore in the historic way.

It was placed here in 1734. The name 'Dietzel-Geba-Stein' goes back to a traditional court case from the 15th century.

Nearby to the stone exists an information board about it.
