< DE >  Das Gebäude wurde 1913–1915 als Zentrale der Niederösterreichischen Escompte-Gesellschaft erbaut. 1938 wurde es von der Länderbank gekauft, die 1991 durch Firmenfusion zur Bank Austria wurde. 2008 wurde das Gebäude verkauft. 2011 brach bei Renovierungsarbeiten ein Brand aus, der große Schäden verursachte. 2012-2014 wurden die Schäden behoben und das Gebäude zum Park Hyatt Hotel Vienna ausgebaut. Jetzt ist es ein wunderschönes Hotel mit alter Architektur und moderner, hochwertiger Einrichtung.
< EN >  The building was built in 1913-1915 as the headquarters of the Lower Austrian Escompte association. In 1938 it was purchased by the Länderbank, which became Bank Austria in 1991. In 2008 the building was sold. In 2011 a fire broke out during renovations, which caused great damage. 2012-2014 the damages were repaired and the building converted to the Park Hyatt Hotel Vienna. Now it is a beautiful hotel with old architecture and modern, high-quality furnishings.
