[NL]: Op de steen staat: “Beyde deese Bruggens vernieuwt anno 1747. Waarvan de eerste steen gelegt is door Adrianus Post Brants, out 11 jaar.”
De brug is vernieuwd in 1974, waarbij de steen voor het eerst verplaatst is.
In 2016 is de brug nogmaals vernieuwd. Ondanks dat de brug samengevloeid is met de rest van de omgeving, is de steen behouden. Inmiddels had het namelijk ook de status van 'gemeentelijke monument' gekregen. Tijdens de verbouwing van de kruising, is de steen een tijdje te bezichten geweest in de bibliotheek Pijnacker.
Na de opening van de kruising, is de steen is herplaatst in een vrijstaande column bij de halte van de Randstad Rail.
[ENG]: On bridge plaques says: “Beyde deese Bruggens vernieuwt anno 1747. Waarvan de eerste steen gelegt is door Adrianus Post Brants, out 11 jaar.”, which translates into "Near this bridge, renewed in 1747. Where the first stone was laid by Adrian Post Brants, 11 years old."
The bridge was renewed in 1974, with the stone being moved for the first time.
In 2016 the bridge has been renewed again. Although the bridge is mixed with the rest of the environment, the stone is preserved. In the meanwhile, it had also acquired the status of 'municipal monument'. During the rebuilding of the intersection, the stone has been displayed for some time in the library of Pijnacker.
After the opening of the intersection, the stone has been repositioned in a freestanding column near the Randstad Rail Metro Station.
