The stone was brought to the top of the hill. The lime came down 18 meters down the edge of Mayenne and was transported to its place of use by boat on the Mayenne.
La pierre était apportée en haut de la colline. la chaux sortait 18 mètres plus bas en bord de Mayenne et elle était acheminée jusqu'à son lieu d'utilisation en bateau sur la Mayenne.
