An der Fassade der Pfarrkirche St. Gertrud befinden sich mehrere Wandtafeln zur Erinnerung an die im ersten Weltkrieg gefallenen Einwohner von Währing. Vier sind vermutlich aus rotem Marmor und eine weitere aus weißem Marmor. Die roten Wandtafeln enthalten:

Inschrift: "Den im Weltkriege gefallenen Helden der Pfarre Währing in Dankbarkeit gewidmet" (gefolgt von 94 Namen mit Dienstgrad)

1914 - 1918

Ein Stahlhelm mit der Inschrift "Eine grössere Liebe hat niemand als der sein Leben hingibt für seine Freunde. Joh. 15, 13"

Die weiße Marmortafel zeigt auf einem bronzenen Relief Jesus und zwei Soldaten an einem Grab. Das Relief ist von "L. Pramer, Wien IX". Die Inschrift lautet:

On the facade of the parish church of St. Gertrud there are several wall panels commemorating the inhabitants of Währing (18th district of Vienna), who died in World War I. Four are presumably made of red marble and another of white marble. The red wall panels contain:

Inscription: "Dedicated to the heroes of the rectory Währing, who had fallen in the world war, in gratitude" (followed by 94 names with military rank)

1914-1918

A steel helmet with the inscription "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends. John 15:13"
