The benchmark and plaque are located on the west side of Portland, a short distance west of the intersection of Burnside Road and Skyline Blvd., and a short distance south of Skyline Blvd. It is located on the Multnomah-Washington County Line and at the intersection of the Willamette Base Line and the Willamette Meridian.
