Dessinée par l'architecte espagnol Ricardo Bofill, sur une structure d'acier et des façades de verre, elle est constituée de 2 bassins aux caractéristiques spécifiques. « Vénus », long de 50 mètres, large de 25 et profond de 3, est dédié à la natation sportive et aux compétitions, l'autre aux loisirs. La « POA » est aujourd'hui le fleuron des 13 piscines de Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.

Designed by the Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill, on a steel structure and glass facades, it is made up of 2 basins with specific characteristics. "Venus", 50 meters long, 25 wide and 3 deep, is dedicated to sports swimming and competitions, the other to leisure. The "POA" is today the jewel of the 13 swimming pools of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
