Unfortunately the "Virtual Globetrotting" website does not provide additional information about this very interestingly shaped water tower.
However, there are other similar water towers in the Toowoomba region.
Just as Trigonometric Points built in the 1970's have become hidden by 'new growth' of trees, so has this distinctive tower, that could be seen for many miles from the east - before kilometres were introduced!
