Newly restored in 2006, the Tar Hollow Fire Tower has been reopened to the public.

The Brush Ridge Lookout Tower is 73 feet tall and at approx 1198 feet elevation. The tower was built in 1934. Its original use was as a fire watchtower by the forest rangers.

It was restored in 2006, with a fresh coat of paint, a few new steps, improvements to the foundations, as well as grounding system.

Visitors can visit the tower freely, however there is a load limit of 6 persons on the tower at any time. Climbers do so at own risk.
