Nine tall flagpoles stand along the entrance road of the ROC Barlovento Resort. When we stayed there in February 2017, next to the hotel flag, the European Union flag and a small unidentified black flag, there were 6 flags of countries: Canada, Cuba, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Spain.
When arriving at the hotel the flags are in this order: ROC Barlovento, Spain, European Union, The Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Canada, black flag and Cuba.
The ROC Barlovento is a 4-star resort for adults only. It is located at the beginning of the Varadero strip which is renowned all over the world for its white sand beach and clear waters.
Our first two pictures show the 9 flags at both ends, the third picture shows the flags of The Netherlands, the European Union, Spain and the hotel flag, and our fourth picture shows the flags of Canada, Germany and Italy.
