This boardwalk is along the Island Forest Interpretive Trail and connects two interpretive sites located in sensitive areas along a creek. The boardwalk is elevated, made of treated wood, and is about 100 feet long plus the two elevated interpretive platforms. Access to this boardwalk is from the parking lot at the Bristlecone-Alpine Lakes Trailhead.
