Minorca Viaduct was built in 1898, most likely by the contractor Mark Carine, the Minorca Viaduct is a 50ft single-span example.

The Viaduct is an impressive stone built castellated structure with distinctive red brick-topped turrets.

This viaduct on the Manx Electric Railway (M.E.R.) is locate adjacent to Minorca Halt which is on the northern section of the M.E.R. which is 7.86 miles from the southern terminus at Derby Castle in Douglas and 9.92 miles from Ramsey the northern terminus of the line.
