An der Fassade des Hauses Am Hof 2 befindet sich eine Gedenktafel bestehend aus einem Bronzerelief von Oskar Thiede aus dem Jahr 1950 mit Inschrift zum Gedenken an Jean Henri Dunant, den Gründer des Roten Kreuzes. Die Inschrift lautet:

In der Schlacht bei Solferino
besann sich das Weltgewissen
zur Pflicht des Erbarmens

der unsterbliche Samariter

Hier stand das alte Kriegsministerium

On the façade of the house Am Hof 2 there is a commemorative plaque consisting of a 1950 bronze relief from Oskar Thiede with the inscription in memory of Jean Henri Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross. The inscription reads:
