On the lawn on the south side of Green Avenue west, this pair of Mustangs rear up atop a large concrete stele with a substantial platform above. A sign on the front labels them as Maggie Mustangs, Maggie being the abbreviation for the school, Princess Margaret Secondary.

The mustangs are built up of large sheets of stainless steel and finished with metal rods or pipes, possibly for structural strength. Grass on which the mustangs stand, as well as their manes, are made of cut strips of metal. A bronze plaque on the rear of the stele tells us that the artist was Gerhard Moser. A news item mentions that the builder was Bob Harasym.

The mustangs were revealed to the world in an unveiling ceremony on May 22, 2005.
A metal sculpture of two rearing mustangs was officially unveiled in a ceremony on May 22. The stainless steel stallions, the school mascot, were designed by retired architect Gerhard Moser and built by Bob Harasym.
