The Opal Centre has been just north of Coffs Harbour for more than 30 years. But just over a year ago moved into the new premises here, at 'The Big Banana'.

Only in the last year (since January 2016) did the owners of the Opal Centre see the need to sell the land that their 'Mon and Pop' business was on, which was RIGHT beside the Pacific Highway.
So they are now about half a kilometre closer to Coffs Harbour.
About the same size premises, but it is now not their residence as well A lot more parking available here. Nice and air conditioned on a 40°C day.
As you walk in, you are 'greeted' by a 3 foot tall Brazilian amethyst geode, broken open to display the beauty of the crystals inside - magnificent.
The opals are sourced from each of the opal mining towns of Australia, with some coming from overseas. Quite an array of colours.
