The Noble's Hospital Helipad is actually three separate pads which are a short distance from the hospital beyond the car parking area on the south side of the hospital.

During the Manx motorcycling TT and Grand Prix event the access road to the Helipad is closed except for emergency vehicles in the interests of public safety.

During the aforementioned motorcycling events a helicopter is in on station near the Bungalow Station on the Mountain Course whilst racing is taking place ready to transport any rider unlucky enough to have an accident to Noble's Hospital from anywhere on the course.

At other times the Helipad may be used for transferring critically patients from Noble's to specialist medical facilities in the UK or to bring to the hospital transplant organs although this is extremely rare as most such operations would be undertaken in the UK.
