The song "Fär ds Franz-Josi" by Sina is told that the friend of the singer jumped over the bridge. The song was released on the album "Wiiblich" in 1995 and can also be found on "Bescht of Sina". The song is a cover version of Bobbie Gentry's "Ode to Billie Joe". The text in Wallis German and adapted to Upper Wallis conditions, but otherwise quite close to the original of 1967.

DE: Die Ganterbrücke befindet sich nördlich des Siplonpasses. Sie wurde von 1976 bis 1980 gebaut. Sie ist 678 Meter lang und 150 Meter hoch.
Im Lied "Fär ds Franz-Josi" von Sina wird erzählt, dass der Freund der Sängerin über die Brücke springt. Der Song wurde 1995 auf dem Album "Wiiblich" veröffentlicht und ist auch auf "Bescht of Sina" zu finden. Das Lied ist eine Cover-Version von Bobbie Gentrys "Ode to Billie Joe". Der Text ist auf Walliserdeutsch und die Handlung an Oberwalliser Verhältnisse angepasst, sonst aber ziemlich nah am Original von 1967.
