A DC-6B Crashed here in 1965 killing all 52 people onboard enroute from Vancouver to Whitehorse. The investigation concluded an explosive device detonated in the rear lavitory blowing the tail section off. This marked one of the first acts of terrorism in Canada. There is a memorial plaque at the main crash site. A short walk to the tail section N51 35.922 W121 45.705
