Der sächsische Landtag ist das Landesparlament des Freistaats Sachsen. Der Landtag ist verantwortlich für die Landesgesetzgebung, die parlamentarische Kontrolle von Staatsregierung und Verwaltung, die Bestimmung des Haushalts sowie verschiedene Wahlen.
Der Landtag besteht aus einem 1931 als Landesfinanzamt errichteten Altbau und dem 1993 errichteten Neubau, in dem der Plenarsaal untergebracht ist.
The Saxon Parliament is the state parliament of the Free State of Saxony. The Landtag is responsible for the state legislation, the parliamentary control of state government and administration, the determination of the budget as well as various elections.
The Landtag consists of an old building, built in 1931 as Landesfinanzamt, and the new building, built in 1993, in which the plenary hall is housed.
